Umah Dayuh

The room had amazing views, and watching the sunset was always a show. We felt so comfortable during our six months here. The staff and owner were very kind and friendly, always ready to help and make us feel at home. The family lives at the homestay, so you get to learn about their culture, traditions, and happiness. It felt like much more than just a room. Thank you for being so warm with us. One thing to know is that they wash the sheets, towels, and bed linen themselves, so sometimes they don't smell very pleasant. If you ask politely, they'll help with that. The place could use some maintenance too, though we understand it's a big property and would take a major investment for the local family running it. Apart from those points, we had a great experience.

The hosts were really friendly, and the room was comfortable and very clean. You can refill your water here too. I'd definitely come back to this great hotel next time I'm in Uluwatu!

Umah Dayuh felt like home to us for almost half a year. The people working there were always lovely and helpful, and our room was left sparkling clean. The balcony had a view of the temple and beautiful sunsets, and it was a peaceful, quiet place. The downstairs kitchen was the one downside. Other guests kept leaving it dirty, so we stopped cooking there. The upstairs kitchen, though, was always clean and nice. Thank you, Umah Dayuh! ❤️

The bed was really comfortable, but the rest of the room made me expect better upkeep for the price. Some areas are starting to wear down, and the rusty-looking door knob gives the place a neglected feel. There was also a wheelchair left right outside our room for no clear reason. Nobody seemed to be using it, and staff didn’t remove it. The stay was just okay for what we paid.
