Bajo Nature Backpackers

Under Rp 150k, this is a great hostel. The rooms stay cool and comfortable, and the beds are decent. The lockers are big enough for a 40-50L backpack and use a keycard. Coffee and water are free, with bananas offered in the morning too.

This is a cute, peaceful hostel. We watched the sun go down from the terrace and had a wonderful stay. It's close to both the airport and ferry point, and the owner was humble and always ready to help. The bunk beds were comfortable, and the washrooms were very clean. In the morning they provided bananas, coffee, and tea, along with sugar and milk sachets. There was a toaster too, so we toasted bread we bought at a nearby supermart and had it with jam and banana. Lisa was so helpful with information about the island and what to do. She even offered to look over my travel plan and share suggestions, which I really appreciated. The place itself was clean, with friendly staff, and made for a good, simple budget stay. I really enjoyed being here.

Bajo Nature Backpackers is a relaxed, quiet place to stay if that's what you're after. There's not much to do inside beyond sitting on the balcony, but the location is right in the center of Labuan Badjo and within walking distance of all the diving shops. The rooms were clean, and the AC worked consistently, so I slept comfortably.
