Harbour Komodo Hotel

We spent two nights at the Harbour Komodo Hotel and had a fantastic time. Its central spot made it easy to walk around Labuan Bajo and get to the harbor for boat trips. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and many have lovely bay views. Breakfast was generous and tasty. The rooftop Fusion restaurant was a highlight, with delicious food, a great atmosphere, and beautiful views at sunset and later in the evening. The owners and staff made us feel very welcome. Excellent value for money, and highly recommended.

What made the Komodo Harbour Hotel stand out for me was how helpful the reception team were. They were always welcoming, and replies on WhatsApp came quickly, whether I needed local advice, transport help, or had a special request. They also handled booking changes and upgrades smoothly, which made planning easy. The hotel is right by the harbor, convenient for diving and island tours. Rooms are modern, comfortable, and well equipped, and daily housekeeping kept everything spotless. A comfortable, hassle-free place to stay in Labuan Bajo with a genuinely helpful team.

We booked before seeing the hotel and were pleasantly surprised by its downtown location. Cafes, bars, the waterfront, and harbor boats are all easy to reach. The staff were incredibly friendly and the service was great. Rooms are simple, with enough space and a good-sized shower. Most rooms, and especially the top-floor pool and restaurant, have stunning harbor views. We didn’t use the restaurant much since the lunch and dinner menu wasn’t very appealing to us, though the atmosphere is wonderful. Downtown can be noisy late at night, but that didn’t bother us much, and it’s true of hotels in the area. We’d stay here again.

The staff were professional and friendly, and the internet was stable enough for me to work online and join video conferences. The rooms have nice art, the beds are super comfortable, and the bathrooms are spacious enough, with good hot-water showers. It’s well located near everything you need.
