The location is the only reason I gave it two stars. It's close to the main strip, shops, and places to eat. The room walls were stained, there were hardly any power points, and one was nine feet off the floor. The other had the fan plugged in, so you'd have to unplug it to charge anything. The bathroom was dirty, with no sink for washing hands or brushing teeth, and the water had a strange, worrying smell. Wi-Fi was unreliable. Breakfast was toast with butter and chocolate sprinkles, and I saw the butter stored open in an unrefrigerated cupboard. We changed hotels the next day. We're used to basic budget stays, but this was bad.

For a reasonable price, you get a very basic room. It was clean but warm, and smelled of mold and standing water. The tiny bathroom only had a toilet and shower, with no sink, no hot water, and nowhere to shower except over the toilet. The water gets shut off at night. Toast and coffee were included for breakfast.

It's a cheap, standard hotel for the price, and breakfast is just bread. The location is great, close to the beach, harbor, shops, restaurants, and the night market. But my fan room was hotter inside than outside, which made it really uncomfortable, so I'd need a room with AC. The bathroom water also didn't work properly.

The place is run down, and breakfast is just sliced bread and margarine. There was no water on day one, then no electricity on the second and third mornings. The first morning might have been the same, but we left early. When power was on, the AC and lights flickered on and off dozens of times. Noise was plentiful too. The shared area is right in front of the room, and the people across the street keep a bunch of roosters. You might read other reviews and think it can't be that bad, but it really can. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

Breakfast is simple but included in the hostel room price. The building is locked at night, with a staff member sleeping in the office by reception. The shower has cold water, which is normal here. It's a good option for backpackers wanting a private room with a bathroom, close to the marketplace and the port for boats to Komodo.
