OYO 102 GP Residence

The host still demanded extra money despite the state of the place. The room and bathroom were filthy and smelled awful, with insects everywhere, ants included. Completely unacceptable, unprofessional, and very disappointing. 😡🐜👎

The receptionist was nice, and the AC and Wi-Fi worked fine. The rest was rough: the guest house looked nothing like the photos, water sometimes ran out during the day, and the bed creaked and sank after I’d slept on it. There was a hole in my towel and house lizard droppings everywhere. Maybe somewhere to crash for one night, but I wouldn’t recommend a longer stay.

I contacted the hotel ahead of time because my plane was arriving late, but they never replied. When I got there in the early hours, they asked for more than double the price, saying I had to pay again. I had no choice but to stay because it was dawn and I couldn’t find anywhere else. He said he didn’t speak English, and there was food and ants on his desk. I couldn’t help feeling upset and uncomfortable.

The inn is tucked inside a housing complex, with no restaurants nearby, and it may be hard to spot at night since the “OYO” sign is gone. Ask a local if you need help finding it. The room is small and bare, though we had no complaints. Service and amenities seem in line with the price.
