I’m lodging a complaint with Travelio about how my recent accommodation booking, made through Trip.com, was handled. The lack of coordination and support from your platform caused a deeply stressful stay. My booking covered 15 to 18 October 2025, and after Trip.com confirmed it, I received no instructions saying I had to log into Travelio to access the unit or complete check-in. As a foreign guest relying on a trusted booking site, I expected clear directions and a smooth arrival. When I arrived, I had no idea how to get the key. There’d been no preparation for my arrival: no receptionist was there, only security staff who didn’t know about my booking and had no key. Even if you couldn’t reach me directly, you should have known the unit was booked and made sure it was ready for check-in at any point on the first day. I couldn’t get into the room that first night. After a long workday, I had to search around the city until midnight for somewhere else to stay, which was exhausting and extremely stressful. I had to figure out on my own that the booking was connected to Travelio, find your contact details, and ask how to collect the key. No one offered help proactively. Even after I completed all the required steps in your app, I still wasn’t allowed immediate access. My booking was already delayed by a day, but I was told to wait until 2:00 PM for check-in. Then your staff arrived at 3:15 PM to hand over the key, adding further inconvenience. This points to a serious failure of coordination, communication, and customer care. I hope Travelio takes it seriously and improves its procedures so future guests don’t have the same experience.
I stayed a few weeks. The surroundings are pleasant, but the problems inside mean I wouldn’t come back if I had the choice. The rooms are a decent size, and the cleaning and laundry service mostly did their jobs well. There’s air conditioning and a working water heater too. Those things probably kept me from giving it one star. Having to buy electricity credits, though, is a pain. The Wi-Fi might as well not exist. It disconnects and cuts out all the time. The lounge is usually filthy from the college students who seem to have the whole building to themselves. The kitchen is disgusting: I found a moldy, gross dish that had probably been sitting there for weeks. The utensils are dirty as well, and the fridge is far too small for everyone in a seven-story apartment building. At night, loud motorcycles sometimes come from behind the building. It’s awful when you’ve had a rough night and just want to sleep, but the noise won’t stop. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you absolutely have to.
The room was clean, neat, and good quality. If you’re going to a concert at ICE BSD, this place is really close by. There’s an alfamart nearby too, so you can grab a snack after the show.
Rooms belong to different owners, so the price can vary depending on what you negotiate with each one. Water is free, but electricity is capped at 100.000/mth, so extra charges may apply. The place has a gym, pantry, 24hr security, and a swimming pool that’s cleaned every week. The security team isn’t always helpful.
I’ve rented this place twice already, and the service deserves 5⭐️. If you’re going to a concert at ICE BSD, I recommend staying here. Thanks again 🙌
