I booked a deluxe sea-view double room for two nights, December 8th and 9th, after seeing the beautiful photos. The rooms in the pictures were all on the second floor, but when I arrived, I was told only first-floor rooms were available. The owner said, “this is my land,” and that I could only stay in a first-floor room. I was told I could get a refund and leave if I wasn’t satisfied. Outside the room, people ate, drank, chatted, and played cards all day. The bathroom was very dirty, and there was sand on the floor and by the bedside. I won’t come back.

A gem of a place, right on the beach with an incredible location. The rooms were clean and comfortable, there was hot water, and the menu was great. Can’t fault it.

The hosts were great, gave excellent service, and responded super quickly on WhatsApp. We had daily room service, a large room with air conditioning, an open kitchen area, and a nice location right in front of the beach. The downsides were dim room lighting and lots of mosquitoes and bugs. Repellent and keeping the doors and windows closed didn’t stop the bites, and we were bitten several times over our two nights. There wasn’t proper road access, so we were likely dropped off a couple of buildings away. A nice stay with excellent hosts, though the bug bites were rough.

Komang was the highlight of our stay: charming, friendly, and very helpful. Thanks, Komang, we’ll be back. The rooms were great and the beds very comfortable, though we could have used somewhere to hang a shirt or two. The rooms overlook the beach and are perfectly positioned for an easy walk to the ferry, the rest of town, and everything nearby.

Room number 7 looked very different from the photos on Booking.com. The toilet seat was broken, and the toilet door and balcony were both damaged. The bathroom wasn’t clean. When I asked the staff to clean our room during our stay, they didn’t do a proper job in the bathroom. At night, we couldn’t open the bathroom door because of the terrible smell.
