Naturale Guest House

We’ve stayed here over the years and like its simple setup and good value. They’ve renovated the front dining area, which now looks modern, and the food is reasonably priced. The rooms really need renovation, though. Condensation from the AC has caused mould, and there’s mould in the bathroom too. If they fix up the rooms, it would be a nice little guesthouse in a good location.

The room was cozy and clean, with everything I needed, and the AC worked well. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There’s no hand shower, but the hot water and water pressure were good. Their Warung is cute, with good food at a good price. A bathroom curtain instead of a door, no hair dryer, and unstable WiFi were the downsides. Still, I had a great stay, especially considering the price.

We had a good three-day stay at the Guesthouse. The room was clean, nicely furnished, and the check-out went smoothly. There were a lot of ants, though they didn’t bother us, and the walls let through a lot of sound. They rent scooters for 80k a day. Ours had problems while we were in nusa ceningan, but someone brought us a replacement within 10 minutes. They also offered a scooter taxi to the yellow bridge harbour for 50k per person. Many thanks to the friendly young guy who drove us.

I’m here for the second time. Last year there were two larger, nicer rooms by the pool, but now there’s only one. I booked a room with breakfast included this year, and that was a mistake. For the same price, you could buy a big bag of fruit on the street. I’d get breakfast separately instead. I also really missed having a mosquito net. The room is dark, and with dark grey bedding the mosquitoes are hard to spot and catch. They kept me awake several nights in a row. The big room has no hot water, but in the hot weather that’s okay.
