John is a great host, and the room was lovely and made up every day. The whole place, including the pool, was clean. Brilliant place to stay, and I'll certainly be back.

The view is beautiful, that's true, but I couldn't sleep. Roosters crowed and dogs barked at 3 or 4 in the morning, then scooters started up from 7am along with the birds. I could even hear neighbours sniffing or coughing as though they were in our room. The road to the hotel was awful, full of potholes. They charged us 150,000 IDR to pick us up, even though it was less than six minutes away. We tipped him because he was nice and funny at first. We rented a scooter for 100,000 a day, and after three days, just when we'd finally managed to get some rest, he woke us at noon to swap it for another one. There were ants in our clothes, the shower was hard to use because the water pressure was poor, and the bed was fairly comfortable. Thankfully it had a mosquito net. We honestly wanted to leave, but the booking was non-refundable. When we asked for a ride to the port, he wanted another 150,000 IDR, saying it cost the same everywhere and that we should help the local people. We do help and tip wherever it's deserved. Out of curiosity, we asked a taxi we ran into, and he said it would only cost 100,000. Seriously, what a rip-off. When we went to settle the bill, he tried to charge us twice for the taxi and added another day of scooter rental. He literally tried to scam us. Honestly, don't go there.

Everything felt just right during our stay with John and his family. Communication was easy and friendly, and John was helpful and available whenever we needed him. We'd definitely recommend staying here!

John and the team were so kind and funny, and helped us with everything. We had a great stay. The resort sits a little off the road, but the views are beautiful in return. The pool looks out over the other islands, and some rooms share that wonderful view. Our room was clean, and the restaurant was very tasty. You can order breakfast each morning. Definitely try it! Thank you, John and team :)

It's in a quiet area with a lovely panoramic view. The rooms are nice and have good air conditioning, and the staff are very helpful and responsive. I highly recommend it!
