The Shacks at Sandy Bay

The staff were genuine, observant, friendly, and quick to help, including arranging transportation. I also appreciated having filtered water available all the time without needing to buy bottles. Sandy Bay Beach club is only a short walk away, with a delicious menu and incredible ocean views. This was my first stay at The Shacks at Sandy Bay, though I've been to Lembongan island several times, and I loved it. Everything in the immaculately clean room worked and was well maintained. The AC was strong, the bed was super comfortable, and breakfast was generous and delicious. I'm already checking dates to come back.

The beach club, just a two-minute walk away, was a great addition, and the food there was really good. There isn't much else within walking distance, though, and in January the beach and sea were too choppy for swimming. Still, it's a lovely spot, and the staff were all brilliant, friendly, and helpful with anything we needed. We had a lovely stay. The ‘Shacks’ were clean, well equipped, and good value, with cute outdoor bathrooms. Thanks for making us feel so welcome!

I liked my stay so much that I added another night, and the team kindly made that possible. They arranged taxis to and from the port and welcomed me with juice and a cool towel. Cintya took care of check-in and check-out and was just lovely. Breakfast was included, filling, and delicious. I'd recommend the Nasi Goreng. I also had a massage and scrub at the spa. With the discount, the two-hour treatment cost less than 600k. The beach club was lovely too, with delicious food, nice service, and an incredible view. Go at sunset! There are plenty more things I enjoyed, but I loved my time at The Shacks and recommend it. It was affordable and luxurious, and a highlight of my Bali trip. Thanks, Cintya and team.

The staff did a lot to make me feel welcome and help me throughout, and as a solo female traveller I felt safe. The Shacks at Sandy Bay are away from the main bustle, which made it nice to be surrounded by quiet and nature. The rooms are gorgeous, clean, and well maintained. I wasn't sure about the outdoor showers at first, but ended up loving them, even showering during thunderstorms. Sandy Bay beach club is a short walk down the road, with great food and a lovely poolside view. I'd highly recommend staying here.
