The Syron Huts Lembongan

Syron Huts is a cozy homestay with spacious, comfortable rooms, a ceiling fan and air conditioning, plus a large bathroom and a strong, pleasant shower. Water and cleaning were provided daily. The pool area was nice, and breakfast was good for the price. The family who own the place were accommodating and helpful, always doing their best for us. You can book private or group tours at reception, and rent two kinds of scooters or a buggy if you’d rather not ride a motorbike. You’ll need some kind of transport because it’s not right by the island’s tourist spots, though they’re all within a 15-minute drive. Thanks for the warm welcome and lovely atmosphere, highly recommend.

Our boat capsized on the last day of our time in Lembongan, and the Syron huts quickly found a room for me and my husband for the night. Koman, sorry if I’ve misspelled it, was so kind. She took us to the room, offered us food, and brought our ocean-damaged clothes to the laundry. Thank you so much for helping us.

We felt more like an inconvenience than welcome guests, and I won’t stay here again. The staff were polite, though not especially friendly, and most of the accommodation didn’t leave much of an impression. Their contact details are wrong on every third-party site, so we couldn’t tell them we’d changed our booking from four nights to three. I didn’t request a refund for the extra night, just suggested a credit to use at the spa. That was ignored. I was told they had waited for us until 9 pm, but they hadn’t tried to contact us to see whether we were coming.

The family running Syron took such good care of us during our two nights there. They arranged everything and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. I’m really grateful for their warm, kind hospitality. The decor was lovely, our room was very clean, and it was close to my favorite beach.
