Tropica Tranquility Villa

I’ve spent most of the year on Lembongan, and nowhere else on the island compares for me. I stayed in the back villa for several weeks, and it felt like home right away. It’s beautifully designed and so quiet, tucked a short walk from the main road while still easy to reach. The staff are truly kind, warm, and attentive. They made me laugh every day and went above and beyond to look after me. I also love the eco-friendly touches: filtered drinking water and reusable bottles for refills, which matter on a longer stay. The beds are incredibly comfortable, seriously, and there’s a clean, well-equipped yoga shala for keeping up your own practice. If you want to unwind, I can’t recommend Tropica Tranquility enough. The beach is right across the street, and early risers get beautiful ocean sunrises.

I was traveling back to Lembongan on my own, and the bungalow was cozy and relaxing. It’s a little inland, but you can arrange for a small truck to pick you up at the pier and take you straight to the accommodation. The bathroom is nicely designed and gets lovely sunlight. Debbie was charming and hospitable, and I had a great three days here.

The pool was a lovely place to cool off in the humid weather. Our rooms were clean and spacious, the AC worked well, and they provided filtered water with refillable bottles. We really enjoyed our time at Tropica Tranquility. It’s at the northern end of the island, so sometimes it felt a bit far to walk, but I thought this was the best part of the beach and our scuba diving was nearby. There was some noisy work going on next door, though there’s a lot of construction happening on the island.

We’d happily come back to Tropica Tranquility. The bungalows are tastefully designed, clean, and comfortable, and the pool and peaceful atmosphere make it easy to unwind. Staff were warm, friendly, and always glad to help, giving the stay a personal feel. It’s quiet but still close to beaches, restaurants, and shops. Charming place, good value, and genuine island hospitality.
