Bel Air Resort

We truly love Bel Air. Those of us who live on the island and run businesses here sometimes gather to celebrate friendship and peace. Rain kept many of our friends away, and we'd actually hoped to put on a much bigger party. So in that sense, you were lucky to be there. We wish you'd joined in and enjoyed the atmosphere. There are very few places where you can hear music of this quality and spend time with such warm, friendly, genuine people. Next time you're on holiday, we hope you'll stay open to pleasant surprises and enjoy the moment. We'll keep having parties here and at different spots around the island. I came to Gili Air for a relaxing stay, but the resort had rented many rooms to a party group. They were allowed to play hard techno everywhere from 10 am until midnight. I like techno, but this DJ wasn't any good. When I complained, I was told there was nothing they could do. The person I spoke to seemed to care only about the money. Families with children and anyone wanting quiet and peace should stay away. I was there for two nights.

The sunrise views are beautiful from this spot right on the water, and the cocktails were great. Bel Air Gili Air has a fun, funky feel, and I absolutely loved my stay. The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. Couldn't have asked for better.

The pool is charming, and the welcoming staff were friendly. The location is excellent, steps from a beautiful snorkelling beach, with shops and activities nearby. In the surrounding area, smoke from wood fires lit in neighbouring gardens is a regular nuisance, as it is at many hotels around here. Our room needed better upkeep, with peeling paint and cleanliness that could be improved. The restaurant was disappointing for product quality: there's no freshly squeezed juice, and some nearby places serve better meals. The pool and beachside location were the main highlights.
