Hotel Ahava

For the price, this place feels very affordable and the facilities are pretty good. The room was clean, though the bathroom looked dirty. I think that may be down to the choice of materials rather than a lack of cleaning.

I really liked the atmosphere, and the room had plenty of space. They even offer a three-bed option, which you don't see often. The breakfast menu could use more variety, though. I enjoyed my stay and hope the hotel keeps improving. Cheers!

There are several traditional food shops nearby, which was great for us food lovers. The service was friendly, and the parking lot was just big enough. Ahava Hotel is simple and well located in Magelang. Our room felt quite old, and we had a manual key even though I saw some rooms already had card keys. The bathroom had stains and needs an update.

Only book this place if you have no other choice. The sheets had white lines that looked like someone had painted over dirt. The towels were greyish and didn't smell fresh, so bring your own. Hot water wasn't reliable, and breakfast was bland or had too much pepper. When the room was cleaned in the morning, I don't think they swept the floor. It looks nice at first, but up close it's dirty.
