You're right in the heart of makassar China Town, with coffee shops and food stalls on just about every corner. Pretty good for the price. My issues were the single outlet in the room, which meant I couldn't charge my phone while watching TV, and a power cut while I was there. Their backup couldn't keep the lights on in my room. I asked the woman in the lobby, but she had no solution. Damn.

At 140,000 Rupiah, it was fine for the price. There's an en suite bathroom and hot water, and it worked perfectly for waiting for the ship to leave. #UD.ARUM FORMOSA #Banyuwangi - East Java

The rooms are basic but comfortable, tucked into a safe, quiet alley away from the busy city. You're close to Fort Rotterdam, Losari Beach, the La Tunrung currency exchange office, and the airport bus stop.
