The pool setup was great, with three sizes for kids, young children, and adults, along with a small playground. Families should have a good time there. The staff were really nice, breakfast buffet was fantastic, and the in-house ordering was prompt. The food came fresh, tasty, and in generous portions. Kids will have a blast!

There’s a fitness center and swimming pool, and the rooms are quite clean, with smoking and non-smoking options. It’s a good hotel in the center of Makassar city. They often hold weddings, office meetings, and other events here, so be aware that on weekends they can cause heavy traffic jams in front of the hotel.

I attended a symposium in one of the ballrooms for a few days, but didn’t stay at the hotel. Lunch portions were abundant, which stood out, and the taste was on par with food I usually enjoy at other hotels. From the lobby to the symposium area, everything I saw was clean. The large spiral staircase gives it an old-hotel feel, though it was still comfortable and felt safe. Lobby staff were very friendly and gave directions, including when I asked where to perform Friday prayers. Highly recommended!

The room was fairly clean, though dated, and the walls and doors are thin, so you might hear neighbors talking or their TV. The air con was very powerful and cold. Shower pressure was good, and the hot water worked well. Breakfast on level 2 was an OK spread, but there were no nice coffee machines. Starbucks is just beside the hotel if you need a caffeine fix.
