The room was okay, but the restaurant was very poor. Breakfast food was served cold. The staff seemed unprofessional: at 2 a.m. they knocked on my door to collect 1 dollar for a drink they’d left off the bill, even though the Do Not Disturb sign was outside. The receptionist was very slow and seemed very insecure about payment. This was during my five-night stay.
The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. There are lots of traditional places nearby for Coto Makassar, Pallu basa, Sop Konro, Sop Saudara, and grilled fish, and the hotel is fairly close to the Panakukkang shopping area. The Wi-Fi/internet was slow, though. My booking didn’t include breakfast, so I didn’t try the restaurant food.
A nice, inexpensive hotel right in the center of town, with good access around the city. Works well for travelers planning to tour the city.
A pretty great place to spend the night in Makassar, close to the city center. Breakfast wasn’t very fresh, especially the vegetable dishes.
A good place to rest properly and get quality sleep while you’re here for business.
