Hotel Jinan Makassar by OYO Rooms

A happy ending, 161.

Booking through an app cost me money. Jinan Hotel apparently no longer works with any of them, so there was no refund after I booked through the app. I had to check in again and pay 200, even though the hotel still uses OYO. When I checked out, another guest told me they’d had a similar problem and moved to a different hotel. Jinan Hotel should take its name off all the apps.

We’d booked three days through Agoda, but at check-in they told us Jinan doesn’t work with any apps. 👎

I’d already paid in the app, then had to pay again offline at a higher price because they said they no longer partner with the app. The male receptionist wasn’t friendly, and the room felt scary and poorly maintained.
