Hotel O Istana

I visited family who were staying in Makassar for a few days. From Jl. Sungai Saddang, it’s easy to reach places around the city, and plenty of sights are within walking distance. The price seemed fair for the limited facilities, but the hotel is old and could use some refurbishment. My family was on the second floor, where there was no hot water in the bathroom. They were told it was only available on the ground floor, but when they tried to move there, every room seemed to be occupied. It could be a good option as it stands, though without better rooms and service, loyal guests may gradually choose hotels with more to offer.
