I was in Makassar for work and ended up staying here. The facilities are pretty ordinary, with nothing luxurious or especially impressive, but the staff made the place memorable for me. Everyone from the doorman and Security opening the door to the people helping with check-in was welcoming and sincere. Their kindness really got to me and turned this into a special memory of Makassar. Miss Aldha was especially kind. I'd highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a place to stay in Makassar.

The hospitality definitely doesn't feel like a four-star hotel. Nobody greeted us or helped with our belongings, and the room was in awful shape. The furniture is old, the bathroom was dirty, and all the bed linens were stained. I asked for a change, but the replacement still had stains. If they can't get a stain out, they should use a clean one. I don't believe the positive TikTok or five-star Google reviews. This feels like a scam.

The hotel could use quite a bit of work, but the staff were the best part, very kind and helpful. Brayan, the manager at the time, handled the problem really well. That's why I'm giving it three stars.

It's in the heart of Makassar, about a 10-minute walk from Losari Beach and near the government, industrial, and financial centers. Parking is very limited, though valet parking helps with that. The rooms were fairly clean and tidy, if a little dim. I found the food satisfying for the affordable price. It's one of the four-star-rated hotels, out of five, on Indonesia's most popular travel app, and the price is relatively affordable.
