We had a great three-night stay, and I’d still recommend this hotel despite some drawbacks. It has its own style and character, the good and the not-so-good, and I liked it anyway. The restaurant view was lovely, and although breakfast choices were limited, the food was well prepared and delicious. The room was small but laid out efficiently. The hotel is easy to spot, though it’s a little farther from Museum Angkut. The lift was out of order during our stay, so we had to take the stairs from the parking lot to our second-floor room. Hot water wasn’t available from midnight to 4 PM, and we could hear plenty of outside noise because the soundproofing was poor. Don’t choose it just because it’s rated four stars; other four-star hotels may offer more.

The breakfast restaurant served really good food, and the place itself is cool and well designed. My shower was frustrating, though, since the hot water kept cutting in and out. Noise carries between rooms, too. It was still in soft opening, so a lot of the facilities weren't ready to use.

The breakfast was pretty standard in both menu and taste, but the dining area felt cozy. I also liked the elegant lobby and dining interiors, and the building has a distinctive design. It's on the main road, near many well-known attractions in Batu. Each room has a unique wardrobe design. You can still hear the next room, though, because the soundproofing isn't good. In general, this hotel made for a very good stay in Batu.

The restaurant pairs tasty dishes with an interior that opens onto a calming view of the surrounding landscape. From the outside, the hotel seems ordinary, but the lobby changes that impression: it has an elegant, luxurious contemporary look, with geometric details and bright accents. Those colorful ornaments continue into the rooms, too.

The hotel is clean and nicely designed, and it's one of the newest places in the Batu area. My main complaint is how small the rooms are. Breakfast was good, though not great. The hotel was still new and some parts were under construction, so the swimming pool wasn't available when I visited.
