Condro Wulan Hostel

The hosts were so lovely and made it feel like family. On the day we left, Vico’s wife made us breakfast exactly the way we liked it, very early so we could take it to the station. That was incredibly sweet. We stayed five days and would have stayed longer if we could. The hostel is in a quiet, lovely area, with a beautiful garden and cozy shared space. Everything was clean, the private room was bright and cool enough, and we slept well. There was coffee and water, plus a fridge for our things. We usually didn't want to eat out because the food at Condro Wulan was so good. The menu is simple, freshly prepared, delicious, and healthy, with a big plate of vegetables available and vegetarian options for everything. Breakfast was good too. A very good warung is walkable, and they also offer tours. The hosts gave us useful tips for getting around on our rented scooter.

The couple running the hostel were so kind and accommodating, and helped us with everything. They even have a really cute ginger cat. We booked their 3D/2N Bromo/Ijen/waterfall package, which made the planning and transport much easier. The scenery was beautiful and we had a lot of fun. The homestay is peaceful during the day, with a cute enclosed garden where you can order really good homemade food that's very vegetarian friendly. A few little places are walkable, and there's a shop and laundrette nearby too. 10/10.

The homemade food was really good, and they even packed breakfast for our journeys. We felt at home with this lovely, kind couple. We took the three-day waterfall/Bromo/Ijen tour, and Vico explained the itinerary clearly. It was well organised and we had a great time. The location is peaceful, with shops and laundry easy to reach, and they had local recommendations for us. Thank you!

Vico and his wife were wonderfully welcoming, and I had such a fun time at Condro Wulan Hostel. The three-day trip to the waterfalls, Mt. Bromo, and Mt. Ijen was amazing too. I'd definitely recommend staying here. Greetings from Germany!
