Homestay Syariah Grahadi

The owners were so kind and friendly, and the house was clean and comfortable. SyariahGrahadi homestay is a good option for a family holiday in Malang. It’s conveniently close to the Malang toll gate, and we were happy with our stay. Five stars, recommended. Thanks, owners! 👍👍❤️🥰

I stayed for four nights, and it really felt like home. The owner was very friendly, and when we left she even gave us souvenirs from Malang. May Mrs. Esti and Dad always stay healthy. God willing, we can come back. There are three bedrooms, with one upstairs, and two bathrooms, one attached to a bedroom. Everything was comfortable, clean, and well kept. There’s a small prayer room and a gazebo, plus Wi-Fi, a gas stove, and a fridge. Instant noodles, coffee, tea, and sugar are provided too. The neighborhood is quiet, inside a complex, and there’s a minimarket nearby.

We paid 700,000 Rupiah per night when we booked on a whim for Chinese New Year, and the price was fixed. The house was very comfortable and clean, with no bathroom smell and plenty of hot water. It’s in a residential complex with 24-hour security. Parking fits two cars, one in the garage and one in front. We stayed four days and three nights. In the photo taken as we left, my mother is on the left and Mrs. Tony is on the right. The other photos match what’s there, though Google Maps places the homestay a little over 50 meters farther ahead. The location is central and easy to reach. The market and Indomaret are a 100-meter walk, the city center is 2.5 km away, and Malang Kota Baru Station takes about 15 minutes to reach. There are three rooms, two downstairs and one upstairs with air conditioning. With small children, I’d pick a downstairs room since the stairs can be tiring. One downstairs room has a bathroom with cold water. The bathroom at the back has hot water, and six people can use it to wash their hair. Maybe it stays hot because the tank is large. Mrs. Tony was so kind and friendly. We needed a rice cooker, and she brought one right away. There was plenty of food and drink for guests, including fried noodles, coffee, tea, sugar, and drinking water, all free. She also provided soap, towels, and prayer things. My mother wanted to shop at the market, so Mrs. Tony took her, and they became best friends. Thank you, Mrs. Tony. Stay healthy, Mom. Amen. Thanks also to Ms. Nony and family.

It feels like home here, and I’d recommend it for families. The owner's mother gives you a warm, family-like welcome. The house is centrally located, neat and clean, and the bathroom is spotless.
