The rooms are small and smell bad. There's no shower, just a very cold tap and a bucket to pour water over yourself. The toilet doesn't flush either, so you have to use a bucket there too. You barely get the basics, which makes it ridiculously expensive for what it is. There are plenty of nearby hotels for the same price that are much better. I wouldn't recommend this place.

We left just 20 minutes after checking in because we couldn't stay in those conditions. There were cockroaches in the room and hallway, and the bathroom was filthy, grimy, and had an unwashed bath mat. The shower was only a bucket of water with no proper showerhead, and humidity had damaged the bathroom door. There were no fans or towels, and the staff didn't even ask for our passports. The two men at reception seemed kind and apologetic, but we ended up going to the nearby Grand Palace Hotel Malang.

Rooms weren't as listed, and the beds were really uncomfortable. The manager was aggressive and extremely unhelpful. It was expensive, with no AC, shower, TV, Wi-Fi, or customer service. Worst hotel in Indonesia. Stay somewhere else.

The location is good, near central Malang and Malang Station. It's easy to find food sellers and some of the things we need. The hotel is clean, and the staff are very helpful and kind.

For 660k IDR including tax, you can get a family room. It's a budget hotel in the middle of Malang town, so the price and location are good. The downsides are that you have to pay for Wi-Fi, and the furniture and equipment are old.
