Food is easy to find nearby, whether you want breakfast, lunch, or dinner. There's a local market about 50m away with fresh vegetables, meat, seafood, jamu, tempe, and ready-to-eat food. It's also near SMK Telkom, so this worked perfectly for a short visit to Malang.

There are lots of food stalls nearby, and the traditional market is only a two-minute walk away. The owner was really friendly, the homestay was clean, simple, and cozy, and the price felt affordable for the service. It's outside the crowded city centre, but still convenient for getting around.

The bathroom had hot water and there was a washing machine, and I liked the homestay overall. I booked two deluxe rooms for one night through agoda at this low-budget place. It was a new building with nice staff, but unfortunately my room smelled bad. Air freshener didn't help, so we asked to move. There were only two deluxe rooms, so we agreed to switch to a standard room at the deluxe-room price.

The place was clean, but not every room has air conditioning. Malang isn't as cool as it used to be.

A quiet room, good cleanliness and service, and good value for the money.
