OYO Life 3720 Homestay Gayatri Janti

The room I got was on the third floor. The AC worked and was cold, but the TV wouldn’t turn on, and there were no toiletries in the bathroom. The only water was in a small bucket with a dipper, which wasn’t what I expected. Even the reception area smelled musty and creepy, and the hallway lights were dim. Scary.

I regretted staying here. It was dirty and noisy, and there were angry guests whose words I couldn’t make out. I’d recommend going somewhere else. It just wasn’t very good.

We were told early check-in or checkout was possible, but they still charged us an extra 100 thousand even though we checked in and left early. We didn’t extend our stay or ask for anything extra, so this shouldn’t have cost us anything. Very disappointing.

There’s indoor parking for both motorcycles and cars, and the room itself was fairly spacious, with a standard bed, table and chairs, and working AC. But the reception service was really curt. The TV didn’t work, the sheets were moldy, the blanket had cigarette holes, and the dust on the walls was really noticeable. The bathroom was the worst part. No shower, just a small bucket, and the water heater didn’t work. The water often stopped running. The towel was moldy, and there was unflushed poop in the toilet. 💩💩💩 I understand the price is quite cheap for Malang, but I didn’t pay to clean the toilet myself. Such a shame the cleanliness was so poor.
