We arrived at 10 PM after booking and paying in full through REDDOORZ, but there was no room for our group. The hotel said the app had made a mistake and that they were overbooked. They'd apparently known since morning and confirmed it with the app, but REDDOORZ didn't pick up or reply, and nobody from the hotel told us about the problem. When we raised it, they said there were no rooms and they'd find another hotel. I knew of four other groups facing the same issue, and by 8 PM they still hadn't been placed anywhere. Everyone got angry before the staff finally moved quickly. The replacement was a terrible old hotel with a for-sale banner outside. The toilet was broken, there was no air conditioning, and there was no breakfast even though we should have had it. What a jerk.

Reddoorz is no longer active. Please update the location information for Reddoorz in Malang city. It's very popular with tourists coming from outside the city.
