Our toilet and amenities were super clean, and I really liked the design, decor, and hostel atmosphere. We stayed at Shelter Hostel on the first day of our anniversary trip in Indonesia, and they made the night feel special by decorating our room for free with five lovely candles for our fifth anniversary. Such a thoughtful touch. Check-out was also arranged very smoothly. I highly recommend this hostel.

We arrived very early, but could relax in the hostel cafe's cosy area until check-in, which happened earlier than expected. We loved our seven days here in a private room with a shared bathroom. The staff were amazing and answered all our questions, made delicious food, and helped us with tours. The location was great too, and we walked everywhere.

The staff were welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help. We enjoyed a one-day waterfall trip with a warm and friendly guide, and the Bromo/Ijen trip was organized perfectly. Our private AC room was clean, cosy, and comfortable, with a lovely loft and a window overlooking the city. We loved everything about our stay and would definitely recommend it.

Our Mount Bromo/Ijen tour was a 5/5, with everything planned out. Driver Harry was the best, so sweet and caring, and he really added to our great experiences. The hostel staff were helpful and nice, and the rooms were nice too. We stayed for two nights and booked the tour through the hostel.

The private room was lovely and comfortable, and the shared bathroom was very clean. The team were super helpful, and the hostel has lots of tours on offer. Great place to stay.
