Whiz Prime Hotel Basuki Rahmat Malang

It felt like a fair deal for the comfort, cleanliness, and service, and getting around Malang was easy from the well-connected location. At Hotel Whiz Prime Malang, my room was clean, comfortable, and well cared for, and the staff were helpful and friendly throughout. I had a great stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting the city who wants a reliable, hassle-free place.

The room was spacious, the view was great, and I enjoyed the service. Parking is limited, though they do offer free valet. I booked a non-smoking room, but it was full, so I was put in a smoking room even though my room was upgraded. The smoke residue set off my allergies badly enough that I had to change my itinerary. I hope management handles non-smoking room availability better, since this can affect people's health, not just their preferences.

The indoor pool overlooking Kayutangan was a nice extra, and breakfast had a tasty, varied menu. Staff were really friendly and helpful, and the rooms were spacious and clean. Whiz Prime Hotel Basuki Rahmat Malang is right in central Malang, about a five-minute walk from Kayutangan and close to Malang City Station. I'd recommend it for a visit to Malang.

Mbak Caca asked me to write this review. The main downside was traffic noise from motor vehicles, though a room away from the street should avoid it. I also had to buy soap because housekeeping hadn't put enough in the bathroom dispenser. Otherwise, it's a standard hotel for the city-centre location and price, with ordinary service, food, and accommodation. Nothing especially memorable if you've stayed in lots of hotels.
