The hosts were warm and welcoming, and the place felt truly Balinese. I stayed for ten days and didn't regret it. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to learn about local traditions.

We stopped here for lunch during our bike tour, and the food was great. The people were nice too.
Nice Balinese family serving home-cooked food. You're here because they're first.
Really Balinese, clean, and green.
Our stay was in a local's real Balinese family home, and the accommodation was excellent. Her dogs kept watch over the place, which wasn't needed but was sweet. We were warmly welcomed and shown around the rice paddies and other fields in her community. It was lovely to see how people live and help each other there. We got up early the next day to visit the traditional market. It was so different from what we're used to in the Netherlands, and she explained what we were seeing and where things came from. Breakfast afterward was another authentic Balinese one: coffee or tea, a sweet treat, then nasi goreng with chicken and shrimp. The meal she'd cooked for us the previous evening was delicious too. Want to really experience Balinese culture? This is the place.
