The room problems were frustrating, but what bothered me most was how the hot water issue was handled. Both rooms had no hot water for two nights. We told the front desk the first night and weren't moved, even though the attendant said occupancy was only 80%. We reported it again around lunchtime the next day and were offered another room around 6 pm, which felt far too late. They said they'd give us a better room on a future visit, but I won't be coming back to Aryaduta or recommending it to anyone. There were other problems too: dirty windows with a previous guest's handprints, a broken toilet flush button left on the floor, and a burn mark on the sofa. Breakfast was limited compared with Swissbell Maleosan, and the fruit and other food were slow to be replenished. I'd stayed at Aryaduta whenever I visited Manado for several years, so it was disappointing to feel overlooked as a returning guest. Very disappointing. If you do stay, check the hot water in your room.

The best part is how close the hotel is to siloam hospital. There's a corridor straight from the main lobby, which would make getting there easy if someone in the room had an emergency. The hotel looks pretty nice and luxurious inside and out. The room was just okay, though. The AC needs attention because it wasn't cold enough and was noisy.

We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived, thanks to the attentive staff. The reception team also helped make the stay memorable. Our room was spacious and very clean, with lovely views over both the city and the ocean.

The location works well for travelers, and the rooms were comfortable, nicely equipped, and felt like those of a quality city hotel. Reception staff were professional, polite, and helpful. Prices seemed very reasonable for this kind of place. I'd definitely stay here again.

The staff did their jobs really well, and the toilet was clean. I liked the large room with its ocean view, and breakfast was included. I'd recommend it if you're coming to Manado.
