The breakfast was a highlight, especially the delicious Indonesian flavors that felt authentic instead of westernized like at many hotels. Grand Whiz Mega Mas Manado is also right next to the shopping center and close to lots of good places to eat in Manado center. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Ms. Nadia at reception. I had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back.

It's a good hotel for the price if you're after basics rather than frills. There's hot water, air conditioning, and clean towels, and the location and service are good. The room safe didn't work at first, so I called for help. Staff came several times and got it working after about four attempts. One pillow smelled a little, but I left a note for the daily room service and they replaced both pillows. The place is pretty worn, there's no mini-fridge, and the armchair's fabric seat looks dirty.

Right on the beachfront in the MegaMas complex in Manado City, this hotel has one of the best locations. There are plenty of breakfast choices, plus special lunch packages.

My friend's room had lots of tiny baby roaches. The staff tried their best to get rid of them, but they kept coming back. Still, I totally love the service, and the rooms are spacious. The hotel looks clean and bright, and I have no other complaints.
