Sunset Guest House & Bar

We enjoyed it so much that after leaving the island to continue our trip, we came back a week later for another stay. The room was basic, very clean, and comfortable, and sitting on the veranda looking out at the sea right in front of the house was lovely. Helmi was so friendly and helpful with transportation, diving, and activities. Yoke made incredibly delicious food three times a day, and there was always plenty, so we never went hungry. Thanks again, Helmi and Yoke. See you next time!

The food is a must try if you like eating well. The family cooked different, really tasty dishes each day, with lots of food and vegetarian options. The place is right on the beach, with a beautiful sunset every evening, and it's clean and nice. My boyfriend and I stayed four nights and had an amazing time. Everyone was super friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed, and we felt at home. If we return to Bunaken, we'll definitely stay here again.

The bed was the only small downside for me. It seemed a bit old, and I could feel the springs. Otherwise it was a very nice stay. The owners were lovely and made sure we had what we needed, asked what we'd like to eat, and arranged a dolphin trip. The food was the best we had during three months traveling in Indonesia, and there was more than enough for everyone.

All the guest rooms are upstairs, and with the sea breeze it feels a bit like staying in a treehouse. The place is right on the beach and super clean, with terrific food. The owners are incredibly friendly and kind.
