The view over the ocean was lovely, though we barely had a chance to enjoy it since we were there just one night and left at 7:30 AM for the boat. Dinner at the resort restaurant was the best meal of our week in Bali and Lombok, and it was good value too. The front desk team were kind and helped us check ferry times. In the room, the hot water pressure was weak, so a warm shower took a while, and the Wi-Fi kept slowing down or dropping, which made sending photos and videos to friends a bit of a hassle. Still, it’s a nice place to slow down and relax.

We spent a week at Puri Mas and came away feeling refreshed. The grounds, with their water features and gardens, make for a peaceful setting, and there are plenty of accommodation options for solo travelers, couples, or a small group. We also took a day trip to snorkel and explore the Gili Islands. On a clear day, the view of Mt Agung (Bali) from outside Puri Mas is spectacular.

The staff were warm and professional, and the spa was excellent. We loved the beautiful rooms and the striking ocean view. It’s a lovely little boutique resort with traditional Lombok style, and a great spot for a relaxing, romantic stay.

We booked the romantic villa for our honeymoon, and the team welcomed us with decorations and complimentary snacks. The villa was spotless, and I loved the little touches in the interior design. The breakfast chef at the beachfront restaurant, whose name I’ve forgotten, was especially welcoming while making omelettes and the like. Breakfast options were somewhat limited and repeated, but I didn’t mind. The resort has a beautiful view and will always feel special to me. Thanks, Puri Mas, for such a lovely stay ❤️
