Pondok Siola

The location was really convenient and easy to get to, and the service made the visit so enjoyable. I had a wonderful time at Pondok Siola and would definitely recommend it! 🤩✨👍

The owner's private island tour was the real highlight. We visited beautiful islands that felt undiscovered, with hardly anyone else around, and it made for a special experience. The rooms showed some wear and could use attention to the paint, but for such a reasonable price it was still a good stay. I'd highly recommend it if you're after value and an authentic adventure.

It's very quiet here, which suited us, though some people might feel there isn't much to do. We liked meeting the locals, and could swim and snorkel just outside the hotel. Heri deserves a special mention: he's helpful and friendly without being pushy, and can arrange things like snorkeling trips or onward transport. Our room was comfortable and clean, with a lovely sea view, good a/c, and tea and coffee facilities. The restaurant food was tasty and freshly made, and the spacious gardens were beautiful and well maintained, with plenty of room to relax. We had a really relaxing stay and will definitely come back.

We had the place to ourselves, and it was a great spot to unwind. The wifi worked well in most areas, though two nights felt like enough since there aren't many activities and swimming isn't possible at low tide. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the aircon worked perfectly. Harry took care of our filthy trekking laundry, set up a fantastic snorkelling trip, and suggested other things to do. We walked along the black sand beach to villages in both directions, and the locals were very friendly. The food was fresh and tasty, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
