It’s a cheap, standard hotel. Still, everything was fine.

For the 650,000 rupiah I paid, I wouldn’t recommend it. There’s barely anything to do once you get back to the hotel except sleep, and the facilities are missing things like a kettle or tea making setup. Calling it three stars was disappointing, and even one star feels too generous. Breakfast had rice with three side dishes, bread with butter and jam, watermelon and papaya, plus coffee, tea, plain water, and cordial.

This didn’t seem suitable for families to me. I was confused to find that it was an adults’ hotel and that women were being offered for sexual services. I thought Lombok was a good Muslim place, so I don’t understand it. Why does the government allow this?

The rooms are small, even the biggest ones. Still, the location makes it easy to get around, and the hospitality is friendly. The room size is the one drawback; there are plenty of other good things about the hotel.

The rooftop view is beautiful. The room itself was clean and comfortable, though there was no decent Wi-Fi signal in it, so I had to go to reception to get online. It’s near the old Mataram airport, but a fair way from the city centre.
