Puri Saron Hotel Senggigi

Great value for the money. The rooms, layout, and pool decor were all lovely. The only snag was patchy Wi-Fi around the pool and restaurant.

The staff are amazing, always so pleasant, and the buffet breakfast is tasty, though not especially healthy as others have said. The beach is just okay, and the sea was too rough for swimming. Still, it’s definitely worth the money. I preferred the bungalow furnishings to the third-floor room with its ocean view. The bungalows or villas around the garden seem like the better choice, especially since the bungalow had a verandah where you could sit and enjoy the garden. It also had a bath, which I liked, though it filled slowly.

There’s a back gate that leads straight to the beach, and I think the price is fair for the facilities. The breakfast choices were limited, though, and quite a few things in the room were broken.

The staff were lovely and friendly, and the hotel and pool are beautiful. It’s peaceful there too. There are a couple of stray cats around. We fed them after dinner, and I wish the hotel would provide food and water for them and treat them humanely.
