We found Nirmala Guesthouse a convenient spot for visiting Keramas Beach, while still being in a calmer area away from the busy tourist places. The staff were friendly and quick to help whenever we needed something. We stayed two nights in the family room as a group of five, and it was comfortable and pleasant. There was enough space for all of us, the room was clean and well kept, and the beds were comfortable. It had everything we needed for a short visit. The guesthouse is quiet, which made it easy to unwind after a day out. For families or small groups looking for a simple, clean, affordable stay in Keramas, it’s a good option. We enjoyed it and would consider returning.

The staff were so welcoming, and the food was great. Our room was very clean, with excellent air conditioning, and the resort itself was extremely tidy. They cleaned the rooms every day. We also had a lovely view across the rice paddies, with the beach very close by. Had an amazing stay at Nirmala, and I’ll definitely come back!

The restaurant meals were tasty and very affordable, and there were lots of geckos around, including some pretty big ones. Maybe that’s why the mosquitoes didn’t bite us much. We didn’t get to use the pool because it was being renovated, and it’s a shame the lovely yoga area wasn’t in use either. The beach is close, though the surf hire is across a river that’s hard to cross at high tide. There were five of us. The couple first took the bungalow, but road noise just behind it kept us awake all night. We moved to a smaller standard room and slept much better. Light sleepers should skip paying extra for the bungalow. We had a nice time overall, but didn’t get as much sleep as we wanted.

I had a genuinely lovely stay at Nirmala Guest house. The staff were always kind and happy to help, and it’s a five-minute walk to a beautiful black sand beach, with more places to eat nearby. There’s a restaurant on site, though I wish the menu had a couple of vegan choices. I first booked the double room, then added another week and moved up to bungalow room B2. The double had a great view of the rice paddies, while the bungalow was very nice and roomier, with its own front garden. Both rooms had reliable hot water and comfortable beds. They were really clean, with daily cleaning. I travel long term and can be fussy about where I stay, but Nirmala Guest house came close to perfect.

Nirmala is still my favorite place to stay anywhere on Bali. I’ve returned many times, and it’s been consistently excellent every visit. The staff are fantastic and kind, the rooms are exceptionally clean and well maintained, and the grounds are beautifully cared for. It’s tucked away in a quieter corner of Keramas.
