I couldn't get to sleep on the ninth floor because a low, constant sound kept coming through, and the whole bed was shaking. There was also a confusing problem with the massage price. At check-in and when I asked the front desk, I was told it would be 280k for 90 minutes. Once the technician came to our room, he said it was 250k for 60 minutes. He said the order had already been placed and couldn't be cancelled. I felt the front desk should have made that clear when I booked by phone, instead of leaving me to pay after the technician arrived. It felt like an integrity issue.

The hotel is in central Medan, and the staff are friendly. Breakfast was the one frustrating part: I ordered scrambled eggs, but mine never arrived, while people who came after me got theirs. I had to order again and wait again. Maybe my order was forgotten, lol. They could keep track of what people ask for. Otherwise, it’s a very nice hotel.

The buffet was delicious, and the rooms were clean and modern, with friendly staff. Just be aware the hotel shares space with a KTV and club, so upper-floor rooms can get noisy.

It’s an easy walk from the station. The bathroom was spacious, and the front desk staff were friendly and gave me great nearby food recommendations. Thumbs up!

The room was comfortable for our family, with a cozy bed, soft pillows and blackout curtains that kept the light out. Check-in was quick, and there was enough space and amenities for us. The location made it easy to reach nearby attractions, and the hotel has karaoke, a nightclub and restaurants. Parking, though, was limited for a hotel this size. Noise was a problem for us. Train horns were loud at night, and the bass from the KTV and club upstairs came through clearly, which could bother light sleepers and families with young children. Some walls were visibly dirty, and the bathroom furniture was broken. We had a pleasant stay overall, but the noise and room upkeep are worth keeping in mind if those things matter to you.
