The beds were super comfortable and the price was cheap, but I could feel sand on the sheets. The place isn't maintained well, and the staff weren't helpful. I booked two rooms; one had no key, the TV had no remote, and the AC wasn't working properly. When we complained, we were told to just leave it. The bathroom was dirty too.
The only part I liked was the friendly staff. The building, furniture, and bathroom all feel old-fashioned. The water doesn't run properly, the rooms smell awful, and the beds make a weird noise. I don't think it's necessarily unclean, but the old sheets and covers don't look clean.
I've stayed here several times and found it clean and comfortable, with no noise from a busy street. Breakfast is simple but nice. It's not a resort, just a decent place at a reasonable price.
This modest place is pleasant and very quiet even early in the morning. The staff are friendly, and it has Wi-Fi. A real plus is the excellent, quick laundry service, which many much larger hotels don't have. It's a few minutes from Abdullah Lubis Street, with two restaurants and an Indomaret nearby, though the shop closes at night.
Love this place! The service is good, and the staff are loyal to their customers. Good all around!
