The location worked well, only about a 3-minute walk away. Staff were kind and always smiling, and the spa and restaurant were nice. Cleanliness was okay, though the duvet covers need replacing. The rooms felt a bit small, and having windows that don’t open made it depressing. You’re stuck relying on the AC around the clock for air.

The restaurant took away food we had barely eaten while our belongings were still on the table. They offered to remake the order, but gave it to a trainee who seemed lost, so I ended up ordering from each station myself to get things moving. Our room request was also mishandled: we booked through an online travel agent and asked for non-smoking, but the request never reached the hotel properly. They couldn’t provide that room and kept pointing to availability in their disclaimer, with little empathy. After we pleaded for some consideration following a long evening trip from out of town, they offered to move us the next day and help with our bags, but didn’t do it on time.

The food was great, the Wi-Fi was fast, and the staff were helpful. The location was very convenient too. We stayed a week in a non-smoking room, though, and heard loud running noises from the attic every night. No idea, maybe rats?

There are lots of interesting places nearby, and getting around is convenient. The staff were so helpful and welcoming, especially at reception. Ms Fauziah, Nani, Rudi, and the others whose names I can’t remember.

The service was great, with good recommendations, and everyone was friendly and polite. Our room had no window, so there was no daylight, and renovation work right next to it made a lot of noise from early morning.
