OYO 1634 Dom Residence

This is the closest place to the USU campus, but the rooms were dirty. I booked two, and both were still messy when I checked in. I asked for them to be serviced during the day, yet when I came back that evening, nothing had changed. The bedsheets were stained, floors sticky, bathrooms smelly and stained, and the trash was still there. The staff were friendly. OYO Hotels are mid-range, but this one felt like a dormitory, with narrow hallways and cramped rooms. I can understand the small layout, but not the dirt.

I booked and paid online, but when I arrived they turned me away, saying they didn't accept online bookings. The service was unfriendly, the owner got angry for no reason, and the room smelled. It was basic and hadn't been cleaned, with trash scattered around and a torn towel. I was misled by the rating. This is my experience, and I really do NOT recommend it.

I was really disappointed. I'm an OYO customer, and I've never had an experience this bad before. The mattress and towel were damp when I got to the room, and the management was unclear. The owner also asked me for 22 thousand for an electricity token, saying it was the owner's policy. As far as I know, the room price includes everything. Please make OYO partners follow the rules, since this kind of thing damages OYO's name. If this lowers OYO's rating or makes it worse, just end the partnership with dom residence. If you're thinking of booking here, I urge you not to be tempted by the low price. They ended up asking me for electricity money, as if I were trying to rent a room, my goodness 😡😤

They've renovated a lot since the previous hotel, and it's now cleaner and more comfortable to stay in. The hotel is nice.
