I arrived late, slept for three hours, and checked out first thing in the morning after only half a night. There were insects in my bed, and the bathroom was soaking wet and smelled awful, with something coming from the ceiling. I was charged 250 000 for the night and got 100 000 back only after talking with them again. The receptionist insisted on cash and kept telling me not to leave the room or go to the other receptionist for a refund. I'm pretty sure he wasn't allowed to rent it and kept the money himself. This is messed up, and probably illegal. The photos can speak for themselves.

We got a discount for our stay, which made us very happy. Our room was the cheapest class, just ordinary and not impressive in its decor, so I didn't take photos of it. The breakfast was good, though, and we took pictures in the lobby. The hotel is in the middle of the wholesale automotive trading area, with lots of food sold by Chinese vendors here.

The staff made an effort, and the location is within easy reach of Medan city. That's why I gave it two stars. The hotel itself is in a sorry state, with dirty corners and joints, and the entertainment is zero. The walls are like cardboard, so you hear every thump or bang from the next room. I stayed three nights. Would I come back? Maybe as a last resort if I were short on cash, and because of the staff.

It's an old hotel with poor service and no maintenance. The price is cheap, and there are lots of restaurants nearby.
