The staff are the main reason I'd stay at Aiho Hotel Medan again. Miss Ririn went out of her way to make sure things were pleasant even before I arrived, and the rest of the team were just as welcoming. The reception and breakfast staff, housekeepers, and even Pak Raja, the security guard who kept me feeling safe while I waited outside for Grab, all looked after me during my solo trip. Everyone was smiling and checking in to make sure my stay was going smoothly. The hotel itself was clean, well kept, and working properly. One lift was being repaired, but the notice was clear. A few things could use touch-ups here and there. Breakfast suited me: there was local and Western food, noodles, and eggs made to order. I'd seen comments that the choices were limited, but that was plenty for me. The staff's care made the stay feel fantastic, and I'd definitely recommend the place.

We had a pleasant stay, and the staff were friendly and helpful the whole time. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable, though the discoloured linen could really do with being replaced. For two nights it was fine. Breakfast was unusual, but at least I could get a cup of coffee. We also tried the spa massage, which was really good and relaxing. 😊

The pool could use a renovation, and the hot water needs better temperature and pressure. On the plus side, breakfast had lots of choices and was excellent. My room and bathroom were well maintained, and I enjoyed how clean the hotel was and its pleasant fragrance. Thank you.

Ririn handled check-in very efficiently even though she was on her own at reception. She was polite, humble, and spoke English fluently. Management should give her more recognition and appreciation.

The hotel is well located and the prices are affordable. My room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were kind and helpful. I was also happy to get a complimentary birthday cake. It made for an enjoyable stay.
