This was one of the coziest places I've stayed in Medan. We'll book a room again on a future trip.

The staff were polite, friendly, and did an amazing job, but the rooms and bathroom need a lot of work. The bathroom was dirty and unhygienic, and our room smelled moldy. We found maggots coming out of the bathroom sink, and some bed covers were torn. Wallpaper was peeling, there was mold in some corners, and the lighting was very poor. We asked to change rooms but had to wait a day. The replacement was slightly better, though the bathroom still wasn't. With some care and a bit of paint, the rooms could look much nicer. I booked because the reviews made the hotel seem very nice, but stay at your own risk.

The front desk staff were helpful and friendly, and the hotel had good security, with a guard on duty and the front gate locked at night. I booked a suite, but it didn't meet my expectations. The room felt dark, gloomy, and a bit scary. It could work for a short stay of one or two nights.

After two nights, I moved to another hotel. The bathroom wasn't maintained properly: the shower room was broken, the floor behind the toilet was nearly black and seemed untouched during cleaning, and some garbage was still lying beside the coat. Nobody seemed to notice it.
