The staff were very friendly and the Wi-Fi worked well. I slept well because the room was quiet, though it was a little bare, with no desk or mini-fridge. I only got hot water one night. On the other nights it was barely warm enough to shower. Maybe I could have asked to change rooms like another reviewer did, but I didn’t feel like packing everything up. I stayed four nights. Breakfast wasn’t included in my rate, so I paid 100k each day, and it was an excellent buffet. When I came back to Medan a few days later, I tried another nearby place. For a little less money, it had a mini-fridge, a desk and chair, and free breakfast. The Swiss is fine, but there are better options nearby for about the same price.

We asked for an iron and they brought it up really quickly. The customer service was so good, and the room was super clean and comfortable. I’d give my one-night stay five stars. Their service was better than at some other five-star hotels I’ve stayed at in Medan.

The staff are friendly, and I had a good stay. Breakfast has Indonesian food, plus a few Western choices like lasagna and omelettes. The room was very clean, though the bathroom floor is level with the room floor, so water on the bathroom side can make the room floor a little wet too. Keep up the good work!

We stayed at Swiss-Belinn Medan during Ramadan, and it’s always a pleasure to come here. The sahoor breakfast was nice, and they also had a great iftar dinner at a reasonable price.

Traditional Indonesian snacks are a nice touch here, and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The room had no view and was quite noisy, though. It’s fine if you just need somewhere to sleep, but I wouldn’t pick it for a staycation.
