The rooms were decent and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The surroundings, scenery, and public areas were great too. It's the cheapest place we've visited that still had everything we wanted. This is the best resort we've ever been to, and one of our top choices for a holiday.

The Wi-Fi wasn't very reliable, so I'd suggest using a reputable provider. The property has several buildings spread far apart, too far to walk between, and you'll need a vehicle. From the check-in desk to the room it's about 150-200 meters, with staff escorting guests on a motorbike. It's also quite far off the main Jakarta-Puncak route. I'd recommend booking a family suite, since the deluxe Bamboo/Anyaman rooms felt a bit creepy.

I booked both a family suite and a double suite, but the family suite was extremely noisy because people were swimming downstairs. The room and bathroom weren't clean, and the hot water didn't work. Check-in was extremely slow too, I waited 20 minutes for the key.

The family suites are spacious and nice, and the rooms stay fairly cool even without air conditioning. They have two bathrooms, and check-in and checkout were quick. Prices are affordable, the facilities are decent, and it's suitable for camping. The grounds are spacious but neglected, though, and the swimming pool is murky. Getting there means taking a side road off the main one, over some challenging terrain.

There are plenty of routes to the hotel for a one-day staycation after a Taman Safari event. Booking and paying at the hotel was fast, and the service was friendly, including from the beautiful receptionists. Room service was reliable and responsible. The facilities are adequate, though they could be improved.
