I checked out nearly every other option before booking here. None came close, and the big hotel in town was filthy, with a toilet that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. They were asking the same price as Zoya. Here, the beds and quality linens are comfortable, the AC and Wi-Fi work well, and the modern bathroom and toilet were clean. The rooftop cafe is pleasant, and the food is average to good.

I stopped for just one night to take a break on my trip to Bukittinggi. It's a lower-tier hotel in the RedDoorz chain, so keep expectations modest.

Breakfast was delicious, and both the room and bathroom were really clean. The price is affordable too. I loved staying at this guest house. For me, it's the best hotel or guest house in meulaboh (west aceh), and one I'd recommend. Congrats...to zaya guest house
