Lynn Hotel Mojokerto

I spent two days here. The breakfast was genuinely tasty, with plenty of snacks and drinks to choose from, and the restaurant had a wide-ranging menu at good prices. The hotel and rooms were clean. In my room there was an electric kettle and two mugs, and water was available near the lift, hot, room temperature, or cold. There’s a pool for adults and children, and you can order food and drinks there. Lynn Hotel also offers wedding packages. Ordering food can come with various facilities, including venue rental and permits, and I’m very interested in holding my wedding there. The start of my stay was frustrating. I’d booked a third-floor non-smoking room a week ahead and paid in full. The hotel and I had agreed I could check in early at 6 am and pay for that on arrival. I arrived from Jakarta at 6, but my booked room was still occupied. They offered me an empty smoking room, which I refused, and said I’d have to wait until 9:30 for a non-smoking room. That left me waiting for 3.5 hours when I’d hoped to rest after the trip. After I complained, the hotel offered compensation with free early check-in, plus a checkout time one hour later. I hope the service improves, especially for guests who booked in advance and paid in full, so this doesn’t happen again. Thank you and best regards.

Mojokerto is heavily industrialized, and the smog in the morning was disturbing. It didn’t feel like a healthy place to be. We were only stopping overnight during a drive, and our standard room was on the small side. I didn’t care for the mattress, and at my height the bed was too short. Drinking water was at a shared point outside the room. A nearby loudspeaker was almost level with the hotel, and I could hear too much from the neighboring room. Also, the shower window was visible from the bed, which wasn’t great for privacy.

I stayed a day while on a bike trip. The room was neat and clean, the staff were super friendly, and both the room and parking area were spacious. Breakfast was good and the Wi-Fi excellent. The indoor pool was just so-so, and I guess it hadn’t opened yet during the pandemic. The location is right in the heart of Mojokerto.

The room was a mess, with stains, and there were things left under the bed by previous guests, including water bottles and tissues.
