The staff deserve a special mention, they were extremely kind and always attentive. I also loved the food and drinks, and the hostel has a rooftop as well as an incredible view from the room balcony. There’s a gym with everything needed for a proper workout, which was a great bonus. I stayed in a dorm during low season and ended up with the whole room to myself. It was amazing, and everything was impeccably clean. The dorms are thoughtfully designed, with large lockers, shelves, and room by the bed for a book or drink. There’s hot water in the shower too. Definitely the best hostel I’ve stayed at since arriving in Bali.

The toilets were really clean and beautiful, and there was a small gym you could use for free if you wanted. My room and bed were clean and spacious too. Definitely worth the price. Thanks for everything!

Waking up to the mountain views from the balcony was the best part. I had an incredible stay at a beautiful Dong Paloh hostel in Munduk. The staff made me feel welcome from the minute I arrived, with genuine hospitality that stood out. The place was clean, organized, and comfortable enough to make leaving hard. A cozy, peaceful base for exploring waterfalls, rice terraces, and the fresh mountain air. I highly recommend it.

The host family were very kind, and both the food and service were brilliant. But my private room smelled really unpleasant. I couldn’t leave the window open because there was no mosquito net. The hostel is right on the road, so it’s not a good choice if you want somewhere quiet. There was no hot water either.
